Support Groups Joining a support group is a great way to connect with others who understand what you are going through, learn about Parkinson disease and ways to cope with the challenges that come with having PD. Our support groups are for: People new to PD People who have had PD a long time People with Young Onset of PD People who are caregivers or relatives of those with PD These support groups are for people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers. Each support group is facilitated by a peer, care partner, or health professional. The format of each support group varies, but many have monthly speakers who speak about topics such as nutrition, exercise, physical therapy, and voice therapy.
